Upcoming Short Course - People, Places & Politics: The Protestant Reformation in Context

May 25, 2017 Upcoming Short Course - People, Places & Politics: The Protestant Reformation in Context

You may have noticed that there is a lot of talk this year about the Protestant Reformation; but what do we make of this period in church history? How are we to get our heads around what the world was like for Christians then, compared to now? As part of RTC’s Reformation 500 series in 2017, the Term 3 short course will help students recapture their Protestant heritage and better understand the history of their tradition. Starting Tuesday 25 July at 7:00pm and continuing for five weeks, the course will be delivered by Simon Kennedy, of the Advanced Studies in the Humanities, University of Queensland. Simon will present a great overview of the Protestant Reformations and their importance for the church today. This course will be held at the RTC Resource Centre in Geelong. Cost is $60 per person and supper is included.
