RTC eBooks (for current staff and students)

The RTC currently provides college students and staff with access to three eBook platforms; EBSCOHost, Wheelers eplatform and ProQuest.

  • EBSCOhost  EBSCOhost

To access the books you can either go through our library catalogue (which will link to EBSCOhost) or go directly through EBSCOhost. Click HERE and enter the login details then choose eBook Collection (EBSCOhost) from the list of databases and press continue.

*General help for using the EBSCO databases can be found here.
  • Wheelers ePlatform

To access the books you can either go through our library catalogue (which will link to Wheelers ePlatform) or go directly through Wheelers ePlatform. Click HERE and enter your login details. This will enable you to borrow from our Wheelers eBook collection. Ebooks used through Wheelers are borrowed through a system similar to if you were borrowing a library book; and are automatically returned at the end of the borrowing period defined for individual items.

  • ProQuest Ebook Central  Pro Quest

To access the books on ProQuest Ebook central you can either go through our library catalogue by following the links to books held on the platform; or go directly to ProQuest Ebook central. Click HERE and enter your login details. This will enable you to both view ebooks online and/or borrow ebooks to download to your computer, tablet or phone. Depending on the individual book you may be able to borrow the book for 1, 3, 5 or 7 days or view it online through a browser.

For help in accessing the E-book collection please contact the RTC Librarian.  If you are not a current student or staff member of the RTC you should contact the librarian about possible access.
